It sits on a rocky outcrop and overlooks the village of Tiout and palm groves reminiscent of Marrakech. Today, the kasbah is a restaurant for tourists and the main attraction. An interesting detail: "Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves," starring Fernandel, was filmed in this palm grove in 1954.
